Bismillah.
It has been close to 3months since I’ve gotten my license approved by MAS. It has been 7years since I left the banking industry, only to return back recently for I feel that it is a good time to be back in the financial industry.
I remember back in Feb 2015 my last month in service as a personal banker, there were talks about FinTech, Robo advisors, customers can purchase their own insurance via website without meeting financial consultants and more that were set to roll out.
Fast forward 7years later, those toggling between uni and work in between, I am just glad that I have upgraded myself by taking up degree in both Accountancy and Finance, to keep up with the current trends. However, that itself wasn’t enough and more readings and research required in order to better understand how the finance industry currently works. Especially with more people out there who are more financially savvy nowadays.
In essence, life is a never ending journey to keep on learning new things. I look forward to share what I have found out from my various readings and research, which may somehow help you to understand and learn with me.
