Bismillah.
All praises to Allah that we have just completed the first week of 2022. How was your 1st week back to office/work-from-home (WFH) mode in 2022?
For myself, as of today, I am officially in the new company, working as a Financial Services Adviser a.k.a Financial Consultant. This week was hectic with all the induction trainings, agency trainings and team workplan. I have also recently signed up to join a Muslimah community as part of my efforts to be a better Muslimah.
While 2022 is still new, this week was filled with topics on Goal Setting, be it at work, personal and spiritually.
Types of Goal Settings:
Work: It can be a set of goals that you wish to achieve for the year 2022 and also can be for long term. For myself, I have always been curious about how I can achieve being in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). I’ve always love challenges and I also reminded my WHY of joining back the financial advisory industry that I wish to educate people on Financial Literacy.
Personal: Where you plan out how you want to grow personally eg. learn photography, learn sewing, learn coding etc. I have plans to learn sewing basic stuffs like alteration works. But first, I need to get a sewing machine. Do recommend me a good sewing machine brand by commenting this post. 🙂
Marriage: Where you plan out with your spouse on how you both want to improve your marriage in every aspect or some eg. Communication, finance, decision making etc.
Spiritual: It can be how you want to improve yourself to be a better individual… either on your own or join a community. Surround yourself with positive people.
Personal Finance: It would be good to meet your financial consultant to review your financial portfolio. Ask your financial consultant what your portfolio is lacking in. It can be your personal protection or wealth accumulation or wealth protection or legacy planning etc.
Business Finance: It would be good to meet your business consultant to review your business’s financial portfolio. Ask him/her to provide solutions or ideas on how to improve the business. Set goals for your business growth for the next few months, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years and legacy planning for the business.
May Allah ease your affairs in 2022 in meeting the goals that you have set for yourself. Aamiin! Cheers!
