Bismilllah…
It has been a long time since I last blogged in 2 April 2018 on When Reality Kicks In (Part 3) Repercussions of Recession. First and foremost, I would like to apologise for the long hiatus, due to building my career and gaining skills, connections and experience.
After much contemplation and motivation from my spouse, I decided to restart blogging after resigning from my full-time employment in a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) to pursue self-employment recently.
Here’s a short recap of what happened between April 2018 to Oct 2021.
Oct 2018: Alhamdulillah I managed to secure a full-time job with an NGO which enables me to serve the community by helping individual companies to expand to overseas markets. It is an interesting job where I am able to share some of the knowledge I have learnt in university through doing market research of countries that have potential to expand to. I also managed to complete both my degrees studies and was awarded with Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and Finance (Double Major) from Murdoch University.
Nov 2019: Got engaged to the love of my life, after knowing him for 6 months.
Jan 2020: Got that extra push to kickstart a healthy lifestyle by signing up gym membership.
Sept 2020: Got married to the love of my life, after numerous postponements due to COVID-19 government restrictions. A simple solemnisation held at the mosque I used to study religious studies during my primary and secondary years and nikah done by my former ustaz who taught me before, who is now a solemniser.
Oct 2020: Got our house keys to FarFarCrib.
End Jan 2021: Shifted to FarFarCrib.
End Oct 2021: Resigned from NGO.
Nov 2021: Comeback to the financial advisory industry.
I look forward to write more in the coming future. So stay tuned!
